Lady Bug Rattle

As cute as the lady bug was. I has ended up being a little too big for my niece to play with very well.  So, She needed something else.  and I found made just the thing.  A rattle with a lady-bug on top.

I tried something new to see what would happen. With amigurumi, you work in a spiral and I figured that if you made a color change at the same interval on all the rounds, it would make a soft spiral of the new color.  Well, it was an absolute pain in the butt, but it turned out really good.  I would never have suggested changing colors every two stitches, unless you’re slightly massochistic, but the coolness of the spiral it makes outweighs the horror of having to change colors so often.
